SHAGville Series
These homes were inspired by the works of Josh Agle, known in the art world as SHAG. His art transports us to a time that never was, but will always be. A place filled with dashing men, beautiful women, intrigue and hedonistic luxury, all throbbing to a pulsating jazz beat. It's that timeless time of Marilynn Monroe, James Bond, and the Rat Pack.
When I found SHAG's art, I became inspired. This home is part of a theme in which I intend to fill an entire neighborhood including lots for Downtown, Vacation Island, Old Town, Studio Town, and Magic Town. Enjoy.
This floor plan was custom designed for swimwear supermodel Leslie Byrne. Five years ago, 16-year old Leslie gained national fame as the youngest cover model for SimSports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue. By her eighteenth birthday, she was not only the most sought after swimwear model, but had embarked on a promising career on the runway.
But it all came crashing down around her after she attempted to break into acting. Her ruinous appearance on the hit drama "St. Simwhere" nearly ended the show's seven year run and ended her career.
Leslie found herself an all but forgotten has-been by her twentieth birthday. When she was released by her agency, she began a thirty-six hour alcoholic binge that resulted in a trip to the hospital and her split with long time girlfriend Mia Xantos.
Twenty-two year old Leslie Byrne now lives in quiet semi-retirement. A regular on the morning talk show circuit, she has recently signed on to host the weekly fashion segment on KSIM-TV's "Inside
Simmywood".
